The City's Storm Shelter is located at City Hall, 32905 W 84th Street.
You can access the storm shelter through the ADA entrance door on the east side of the building's main entrance, along 84th Street; look for the big red sign! If it's after business hours, the door will electronically unlock as soon as the tornado sirens are actively in use (therefore, it will not open for a thunderstorm).
We recommend that if you are going to City Hall for shelter, you should arrive within 10-20 minutes or find other shelter. It is also recommended to bring a flashlight, cell phone and radio with you.
